Hi Jerry...thanks for what looks like another of your great postings - unfortunately the 'Codec 8' download will only install on PC's running 'Windows NT'! (or so it says) For those of us using XP it won't install after download! The clip will not play on WMP9 after initial download either - the usual 'Windows does not recognise this format' error window' - again thanks fucking Bill Gates!! :rolleyes:

I'm sorry to hear that Lionheart. I have windows XP, WMP11 and
Codec 8 installed and all vids play well.
I guess it has something to do with WMP9.

am i doing the right thing? I downloaded the cpdec from the link you gave us, and installed the codec,,,do i have to do more that install it??? ,because i still cant see the video??? and i have WMP 11

I don't understand this. Did you restart your PC after downloading
the Codec?
It's original a FLV-file, so if you still can't watch the vid, download it
on your disk and rename it as a *.flv file.
Than play it on the FLV-media player. In case you don't have it, here
you can download the player:
