It's always nice that somebody appreciate your posts, thank you. However, if a new "5 preview pics" rule and requirement will be in order for galleries like these, I shall stop sharing them. For awhile, I will not post anything.

I feel responsible that our members don't get that

Jerry, I totally agree with you concerning spam/spyware problems. However, I still think that 5 preview pics for a gallery, which isn’t a mixed pic gallery, is too much. You should look for example thread 18612. Please, tell me what additional information 5 preview pics gives to you instead of 2 or 3 pics? The number of pics does not quarantee the content of the archieved files, they don’t necessarily match. The number of preview pics does not solve your security problem either, does it?

I think that the users also have responsibilities. There is a general rule, which every surfer should follow in web: think before act – don’t click and download everything. The use of brains is allowed here. Where is the common sense?

You should also realized that everybody doesn’t have fast internet connection etc., so it takes lot of time and efforts to upload your stuff which you like to share with others. Some appreciation is in order here.

<O:pIn my opinion sharing should be fun and enjoyable, not work. What does the active member gain from sharing? I have gained fun and enjoyment, but too harsh rules and requests change totally the nature of the basic purpose of this forum.

<O:pJerry, I know that you have a hard job and there are problems in this forum, and its not any easy task to solve them. I fully appreciate what you are doing and try to do, but please be reasonable. There is not many members which actively share their pics/movies, I think that too hard rules and requests will be the end of this forum. Why to bother, if the rules and requests are not reasonable?

It would be nice to know are those who complains and make demands also active sharing members ( I don't mean you). For me those who post only “thanks” replies are not active members. Active = thread and sharing pics/movies, and opinions in the talk section etc.

Will you remove a thread with only two or three preview pics per gallery?

I think this rule stinks. It's ridigolous. It seems that it's the time at least for me to move on to some other forums. This is pure insanity. I still don't get the point of this. How this will make any difference? Are the all members brain dead or something?

I think the quality of the threads are dropping all the time ( 5-12 pics, uncompleted galleries etc.). There are very few quality threads posted in last weeks. There would be your real challenge in future.

However, I hope you and your colleagues all the best in future.
