In the '60s I have been in Vietnam with the American troops (Cam Ranh Bay).
I wonder if there are Vietnam veterans among the members.

I am.--1962-1967--U.S.A.F.----G.A.T.R.--specialist--Ground to Air Transmission and Receiving.--Maintain and repair equipment to communicate between planes and ground.--AC&W squadron--Aircraft Control and Warning .Electronics Tech--Did not reup--Turned down $10,000 reup bonus for critical MOS.--Went to work for IBM-Can't fight war with hands tied behind your back.Politics would not allow us to clean house.--Time to go.--All I am going to say.

I was in Cam Ranh during the siege of Khe San. Very bad time for those grunts.

Yes it was. There was not a lot of good times over there for me. Got shot up pretty bad in Dak To. It was an ambush. Only two of us lived thru it.

Sorry to hear that Don. Terrible. Yes, those central highlands were very dangerous. Lots of gooks. I hope that you are all right now.
